You Are Deeply Loved

Well, it's officially election week and I don't know about you guys, but I'm exhausted! I'm tired of the mudslinging and divisiveness this year has been stamped with. So, this week, I want to take a little break from my normal writing and I want to encourage you to take these next few minutes to breathe deeply and allow yourself to focus in on the following truths about God.

No matter who wins the election, God is still on the Throne that matters.

No matter how divisive the world around us has been, God has called us to one body, one Spirit, one Church.

No matter how anxious you are feeling, God is here with you.

No matter how dirty your house is, how much laundry there is to wash, or how filthy your kids are, God still deeply loves you.

No matter how many times you lost it with your kids today, you are still precious in our Father's eyes.

No matter how many times you feel as though you have failed, God sees you, knows you, and cares for you.

You are a beloved daughter of the King of kings and Lord of lords. You have been uniquely made into the image of our Creator. He sees you. He knows you. You are deeply loved.

Take a deep breath, my sister, and allow yourself to fall into the loving arms of our heavenly Father. Allow Him to speak His gentle words of acceptance and love. Place your head upon His chest and feel the movement of His breath.

Know that you are perfectly safe in the arms of our heavenly Father.
