Color

Shoots of white and purple

and hues yet to be revealed.

All blooming and yet to bloom,

Buds giving their promise of what is yet to come.

Pointing to life...

and not just green life

...but life full of variations of dyes, change, speckles, and dots,

exploding with movement, intensity, rhythm, and dance.

Pigment.

When sitting in the same tint for so long,

one begins to wonder if there is anything else worth gazing at.

Then all of a sudden new colors burst fourth,

erupting in beauty,

enhancing the image,

revealing the glory that has been hidden away

for far too long.
