A Prayer for All of Us

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are struggling because of the injustices inflicted upon us. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Provide justice for us that we may know You have not left us. Help us to know You are with us in the midst of our frustration, pain, and anger.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are struggling financially and medically. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Provide for our every financial and medical need. Help us to know You are with us in the midst of our uncertainty.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are feeling alone, depressed, anxious, and unloved. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Provide for us Your loving grace and presence that we may know You are here with us in the midst of our loneliness.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who have lost loved ones in this season. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are present within our grief.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are fearful as to what will happen in the election. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are there with us in the midst of our fear.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are drug addicts, homeless, and destitute. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are here with us in the midst of our hell.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are tired, overwhelmed, and overburdened. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are here with us in the midst of our chaos.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us who are mourning that which we cannot hold. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are here with us in the midst of our anguish.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with us whose dreams have been decimated, whose goals feel too difficult to attain, whose hopes have gone up in smoke. Bring Your peace over us. Enfold us within Your loving arms. Help us to know You are here in the midst of our hopelessness.

Help us to understand that when one member of the body of Christ is suffering, we all suffer. Help us to see You as the Suffering Servant, the One Who Suffers With Us, the One Who is Present in the Midst of Our Every Moment.
